Clinician Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Effective upon publication

1. Who may register

Clinician accounts are for licensed healthcare professionals only. By registering, you confirm that the specialty and workplace information you provide is accurate. GLPath may verify this information, and may remove a verification badge or suspend a clinician account if it cannot be confirmed or is found to be false.

2. Confidentiality & professional conduct

Any patient data you see through GLPath is confidential patient information. You agree to use it only for the care of the patient who shared it with you, to handle it under the same professional and legal obligations of confidentiality that apply to any other patient record you hold, and not to share it further without that patient's separate authorization.

3. Read-only nature of the portal

The clinician portal displays data a patient has recorded themselves. GLPath is not a medical device, not a monitoring or alerting system, and makes no guarantee that the displayed data is complete or that it reflects everything about the patient's condition. Clinical decisions remain your professional responsibility, based on your own examination and judgment, not on anything displayed here.

4. Data protection roles

For the personal data you view through GLPath and then use in your own practice, you act as an independent data controller under the GDPR, separate from GLPath. GLPath processes and discloses that data to you only on the basis of the patient's own explicit consent. Once you have viewed or recorded data in the course of caring for a patient, you are responsible for handling it under your own professional and legal obligations, including any recordkeeping and confidentiality duties that apply to your practice.

5. Audit transparency

Every time you view a patient's data through GLPath, that view is logged. Patients can see when a clinician last viewed their data from their own account.

6. Termination

A patient may revoke your access at any time, and your view of their data ends immediately when they do. GLPath may suspend or terminate a clinician account that violates these terms.

Draft pending legal review.
